After breakfast at your hotel in Medan, depart for Bukit Lawang. Along the way, there will be a stop at rubber and palm oil plantations. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, and the rest of the day is free for your own leisure.

Gunung Leuser National Park Trekking
After breakfast, begin the jungle trek by crossing the river in a traditional canoe to reach the orangutan feeding platform. After watching the feeding session, continue trekking deeper into the jungle to spot more orangutans, long-tailed macaques, black gibbons, monitor lizards, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Enjoy the stunning native bird species and the exotic flora and fauna of the national park.

Bukit Lawang – Brastagi
After an early breakfast, depart for Brastagi via Medan. In Medan, visit the Sultan Deli Palace, the Grand Mosque, and the old town of Kesawan. An optional lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before continuing to Brastagi. Along the way, stop at a Batak village in Peceren and a fruit market. In the late afternoon, check in at the hotel.

Brastagi – Samosir
Today, travel to Parapat, stopping along the way at Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long House), the ancient palace of the Batak Simalungun kings, and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Toba from Simarjarunjung. Upon arrival in Parapat, continue by ferry to Samosir Island.

Samosir Excursion
Today, accompanied by a guide, you will explore Samosir Island, visiting traditional Batak villages:
- Ambarita: Ancient stone tables and chairs, the meeting place of the Siallagan kings.
- Simanindo: Batak museum and a performance of traditional Batak Toba dances.
- Pangururan: A breathtaking view of Lake Toba and its hot springs.
- Tomok: Ancient stone tombs of the Sidabutar kings.
Along the way, you will witness the daily life of the local people, such as traditional weaving, rice field cultivation, and school visits. If possible, you may have the chance to observe a traditional wedding or funeral ceremony or hike up the Samosir hills to visit Lake Sidahoni.

Samosir – Sipirok
After breakfast, take a ferry back to Parapat, then continue the journey by car via Porsea, Tarutung, and Pahae Jae village towards Sipirok. Along the way, stop at pineapple, clove, and coffee plantations, and visit Dolok Tolong for a magnificent view of Lake Toba. Later, visit the hot springs in Tarutung. Throughout the journey, you will also observe the daily activities of the locals, including weaving, rice farming, and traditional village life. In the late afternoon, arrive in Sipirok.

Sipirok – Bukittinggi
Leaving Sipirok, the journey continues to Bukittinggi, passing through the tropical rainforest of Rimba Panti. There will be a stop at a coconut plantation, where trained monkeys climb the trees to pick coconuts. The trip also includes stops at pepper, vanilla, cardamom, and cinnamon plantations. At Bonjol, you will cross the Equator line. In the afternoon, arrive in Bukittinggi, the charming capital of Minangkabau culture.

Bukittinggi Minangkabau Tour
After breakfast, depart for Batu Sangkar via Tabek Patah, stopping in Rao-Rao to visit a traditional Minangkabau village and witness traditional coffee roasting. In Batu Sangkar, continue to Pagaruyung to visit the palace of the Minangkabau kings. In the afternoon, return to Bukittinggi via Padang Panjang, with a stop in Pandai Sikek to see traditional hand weaving and wood carving.
