Arrival in Jakarta, Transfer to Bogor
Upon arrival in Jakarta, you will be greeted by your driver and guide. From the airport, you will travel across Jakarta to Bogor for an overnight stay. At the hotel, you can relax by the pool to recover from the journey and inevitable jet lag.

Bogor
Today, we start with a kampong tour from the hotel. Accompanied by a guide, you will get to know village life on the other side of the river behind the hotel. See how locals process leather and fabrics and discover typical Indonesian spices. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous Bogor Botanical Garden.

Bogor - Bandung
After breakfast, we will depart for Bandung via the Puncak Pass. Along the way, you will see the tea plantations that make this route so famous. At the top of Puncak Pass, you can enjoy lunch with options like bitterballen, poffertjes, or delicious Indonesian dishes. We then continue our journey to Bandung, arriving at the hotel in the afternoon.

Today, we will visit a tea plantation in Lembang. Here, you can explore the plantation and see a working tea factory, where you can follow the entire tea-making process from start to finish. After lunch in Bandung, you will have free time to explore Jalan Braga, the city’s most famous shopping street. In the late afternoon, we will watch a traditional Angklung performance at Saung Mang Ujo.

Bandung
Today, we will visit Pasir Putih, an active volcano near Bandung. In the afternoon, we will go to Ciater, where you can swim in the natural hot springs with a temperature of approximately 45 degrees Celsius.

Bandung - Garut
Today, we take a scenic journey from Bandung to Garut. Along the way, we will stop at Kampung Naga, a traditional village where the locals still live as they did in ancient times. This village is beautifully situated and offers a glimpse into Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage. You will stay overnight in Garut, in a hotel by the water, with a room featuring volcanic hot spring water.

Garut - Pangandaran
Today, we take a relaxing drive to Pangandaran, a coastal town known for having some of the best beaches in Java. In the fishing harbor, you can enjoy delicious fresh seafood.

Today, we embark on a tour of the Green Canyon, a must-see attraction in Pangandaran. The Green Canyon gets its name from the clear green water of the river and the abundant moss growing on the cliffs. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, as you’ll have the chance to swim in the canyon’s refreshing waters!

Pangandaran - Baturaden
Today’s journey takes us to Baturaden, a small village at the foot of Mount Slamet. Due to its high elevation, the climate here is pleasantly cool. The area around Baturaden is home to several natural hot springs, which are believed to have healing properties.

Today, you will explore the Baturaden mountains with a Dutch-speaking guide. After a moderate hike, we will arrive at the hot springs, where you can enjoy a therapeutic volcanic mud bath. Let yourself be covered from head to toe in mineral-rich volcanic mud, then rinse off under a warm waterfall for a truly refreshing experience.

Baturaden - Borobudur
Today, we start early. After breakfast, we head to Dieng Plateau, a highland area located within the caldera of the Dieng volcanic complex in Central Java. Situated at 2,300 meters above sea level, the plateau is still home to visible volcanic activity. The area is also famous for its eight ancient Hindu temples. The best time to visit is in the early morning, as the area is often covered in mist by late morning. After visiting Dieng, we continue our journey to Borobudur, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, where we will stay overnight at a nearby hotel.

Borobudur-Yogjakarta
Before or after breakfast, we visit Borobudur. Early morning is the best time, as it’s cooler and less crowded. Built in the 9th century, Borobudur is a Buddhist temple and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Afterward, we continue to Yogyakarta, the cultural heart of Indonesia.

Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta has a lot to offer. You can visit the Kraton, the Sultan’s palace, or explore Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. The city is also famous for silver workshops, batik production, and charming shops. In the evening, enjoy the Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan, possibly combined with an open-air dinner. You’ll find that Yogyakarta has an endless list of things to see and do.

Yogyakarta - Sarangan
After an early breakfast, we drive via Solo to Sarangan. This scenic route takes us through the mountains, featuring steep descents and breathtaking views. We stay overnight at a lodge on top of the mountain.

Sarangan - Surabaya
We continue our journey through the mountains to Surabaya, Indonesia’s second-largest city and one of the country’s most important port cities. We stay overnight at a hotel in the city center.

Surabaya
A free day to relax in Surabaya. You can enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool, visit the traditional Kalimas Harbor, explore Chinese temples, or go shopping at Tunjungan Plaza, the largest shopping mall in East Java.

Surabaya - Kalibaru
We take a scenic drive to Kalibaru, where we stay overnight at a peaceful resort with stunning mountain views. In Kalibaru, you can visit Ibu Harnik’s plantation for a Dutch-language guided tour, where you’ll see spices growing directly on trees and bushes.

Kalibaru - Pemuteran (Bali)
We depart early for Banyuwangi, where we take the ferry to Bali. Upon arrival, your driver will take you to Lovina, where you’ll stay at a beachfront hotel on the black sand beach. Here, we say goodbye to our driver and guide from Java.

Relax at the beach. You may also take a boat tour in the early morning to spot dolphins in the sea.

Pemuteran - Kuta
From Pemuteran, we travel through Bali’s mountains, visit the Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest, and explore Mengwi Temple before reaching Kuta. You’ll stay at a beachfront hotel, with shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy the final days in Indonesia.

Return to the Netherlands
Your driver will pick you up in time for your return flight to the Netherlands.
